-Determine your academic schedule
- Check our van schedules and service calendar.
- Determine convenient times and locations to meet with our driver to use your selected services. Student will bring laundry to the van at times per our Service Schedule & Calendar page or leave laundry in a designated area for pickup. If you don’t seem to be able to find a good day or time to meet the driver, DON’T PANIC – simply call (315) 737-3027 and the driver will work out an appointment time with you.
- For your first day of service, place soiled clothes in any bag and meet with the driver. Be prepared to hang out for a few minutes to go over any needed information and have your questions/concerns addressed.
- Meet and get to know your driver.
Your Responsibility:
- PLEASE CHECK YOUR POCKETS: We are not responsible for items damaged due to items left in your pockets! Ink pens ruin more clothes each year than any other factor. CHECKING POCKETS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
- DRY CLEANING: Remember to always separate items for dry cleaning from laundry when bring to truck! We are not responsible for special care items mixed into your laundry. If found: Hang to dry, Stained, or other special care items will be processed and priced as Dry Cleaning.
- We Recycle Please Return Hangers
- NEW CLOTHING: Anytime you have new clothing that is being washed for the first time, please let our driver know. Colored clothes will likely bleed in the laundry, especially the first time they are washed, but can also bleed with subsequent washings.
- Wet Items: If you have wet (towels) or heavily soiled (muddy) clothes, please keep them isolated so they don’t ruin the rest of your clothes in the laundry bag. Always keep wet and heavily soiled items away from other items to help prevent dyes from running. Please tell the driver about wet items! We will provide additional plastic bags if needed.
- Biohazards: If your cloths contain any biological substance [Blood, Vomit, etc], you will need to complete the following, otherwise your laundry will be returned to you still dirty.
1) Rinse the clothes off and let them dry (cool water and air dry)
2) Place them in a plastic bag
3) Mark the bag
4) Get your laundry to us on the following service day and TELL our driver
- Stains: Please let us know if your garment has a stain or needs special care. Stains present a challenge due to many factors, such as the chemical reaction with the type of cloth, length of time, heat exposure, and delicacy of fabric. Although we cannot guarantee that stains will be removed, we will use our judgment based on industry standards for the method to treat the garment. These special care items can/will incur additional charges.
Conditions are subject to change, without notice.
We are not responsible for items damaged due to your improper handling.
